SPACED REVIEW

Turn Chinese mistakes into a 1–3–7 day review system

A mistake list is only useful when it tells you what is due and when an item can leave. MandarinGo’s review model uses independent retries after one, three and seven days so mastery reflects repeated recall, not a single corrected answer.

Learning tools

Save the learning gap, not every click

Keep a question when the wrong answer reveals a vocabulary, grammar or collocation gap. Add the correct explanation and enough context to understand the item later. Duplicate questions should not create duplicate review tasks.

Use expanding intervals

Retry the item after one day. If correct, schedule it three days later, then seven days later. If it is still correct after the final independent review, remove it from the active queue. A wrong answer keeps the gap visible.

Review before new practice

Clear a small due queue before generating many new questions. This prevents novelty from crowding out retention and gives each session a clear, achievable start.

Understand where data lives

The browser keeps a local learning cache for the active account. Once signed in, supported mistakes, bookmarks, activities and level checkpoints can sync through your account. When offline or if sync fails, recent records may not yet appear on another device. Signing out does not delete server history.

QUESTIONS

Before you begin

Is MandarinGo an official HSK exam provider?

No. MandarinGo uses HSK levels to organize learning difficulty. Its exercises and recommendations are educational practice, not official exam papers, scores or certification.

Can beginners use these guides?

Yes. Start with HSK 1 or the free level assessment. Pinyin, translations and explanations help beginners understand each step before moving to harder material.
